Do we have the right to store this information?
The GDPR includes a number of rules for when you are allowed to store personal data. The basic reasons are when the data is required to complete a service you have requested of us, when law requires us to collect and keep data and when you have actively consented (for instance subscribed to our newsletter). These are the only cases when we store and keep personal data about you.
How do we store and safeguard your personal data?
Rodebjer use systems and processes that have all appropriate safeguards and security measures in place to make sure that your data doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. From technical aspects in our internal and partner systems to internal processes that ensure data is only used for its intended purposes.
Your rights under the GDPR
You as our customer or visitor have the right to at any time request to be forgotten. This means that any personal data we have stored about you is anonymized or deleted. The exception to this is when we have an ongoing issue, such as an open order or an ongoing dialog with customer support, in which case this must be completed first. Also, when other laws such as tax or bookkeeping laws require us to save personal information, this takes precedence.
You also have the right to request an export of all personal information we have stored about you. In both of these cases, feel free to contact our customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org and state this as the reason for your contact and we will of course comply with your request.
In order to protect your personal information we follow all applicable industry standards and practices to make sure your information is kept safe and in the right hands for the right purposes. We only utilize internal systems and work with partners that live up to a high degree of safety and security when it comes to data storage and access.
